John Tyrrell
Client Relationship Manager for James E. Tyrrell II, CFP, ChFC
I began my journey at Heritage Capital in July 2025, collaborating with my father as I entered the world of financial planning. Guided by his mentorship, I work to understand the complexities of managing a well-oiled financial advisory firm. Taking the role of Client Relationship Manager has given me the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and truly make a difference in client’s lives. Being part of a family run practice allows me to work in an environment that values trust, transparency, and long-term planning.
I attended the University of Connecticut, where I earned a degree in Finance. My time at UConn was a meaningful experience, not only academically, but personally. It’s where I made lifelong friends and began to see how helping others understand their finances could be a rewarding career path.
After graduating college, I seized the opportunity to move to Austin, Texas, to join Charles Schwab. The experience gave me a broader perspective on financial services and deepened my commitment to putting clients first. It also played a pivotal role in shaping my professional development and laying the foundation for the work I do today. More importantly, the long-distance move taught me valuable life lessons that helped me grow as a person.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
